Fleet Marine
Force training for HM's. Too Damned Much Running!
Was going through a separation during my time in FMF School. All I ate for any meal was the cold 'Hogie' sold at the exchange. Lost a LOT of weight. (But I wouldn't recommend that particular diet!) Had a lot of trouble with all the marching and running. Used to hang back to cheer on the last few persons in line. That really pissed off whoever was running us around because the HM1 should be out in front leading the run. Blah Blah Blah. I didn't want to be with the Marines anyway! But I made it through better than some; worse than others. (And eventually I came to like being with the Marines more than I liked the regular Navy!)
