Ran Medical and
trained USN Reserve HM's and Doc's. Some time in the field. Ran guns to
West Virginia (legally). Was put in charge of building a garage in back
of the school we occupied while everyone else went off to Training in
Europe. Was put in charge of all the computers since I was the only one
with a home computer (Commodore 64 by then). Zenith 128's upgraded to
Zenith 248's.
Bill Stephens, Phyllis Stephens. Some really nice thunder and lightning storms! Watching people swimming naked in the pool at my apartment complex. Being in Parades and other special occasions because we were Marines. The annual celebration at St. (something). About every 6 months I'd fly to Bremerton to spend time with Kathy. Say, January and June. Then Kathy would fly out March and Sept to spend time with me. Was nice! In between we ran our phone bills up to fantastic levels! I finally talked her into marrying me though and that happened 20 Dec 1986. Too cool! It still took the Navy another year to get us stationed in somewhat the same place. |
